National Turkey Federation (NTF)

Since 1940, NTF has served as the national advocate for America’s turkey industry, raising awareness for our members’ products while strengthening their ability to profitably and safely deliver wholesome, high-quality and nutritious food to consumers worldwide.

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., NTF currently represents more than 95 percent of the turkey industry. Nearly 300 companies from every sector of the industry are affiliated with NTF, including growers, processors, hatchers, breeders, distributors, allied services and state associations. NTF officers, Executive Committee members and the Board of Directors serve as volunteers.

National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP)

The National Poultry Improvement Plan was established in the early 1930’s to provide a cooperative industry, state, and federal program through which new diagnostic technology can be effectively applied to the improvement of poultry and poultry products throughout the country.

USA Poultry & Egg Export Council

Out of its home office in the Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain, Ga., USAPEEC’s reach is far ranging. Through its network of international offices and consultants in key markets around the globe, USAPEEC keeps current on issues that have a direct impact on U.S. poultry and egg exports.

USAPEEC has good working relationships with other industry and agricultural trade associations, both foreign and domestic, such as the National Chicken Council, National Turkey Federation, United Egg Association, the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the U.S. Agricultural Export Development Council, and the American Farm Bureau Federation.

Certified Livestock Producer

The Certified Livestock Producers are livestock producers who must demonstrate their commitment to the environment, animal well-being, food safety, emergency planning, biosecurity and being a good neighbor in their community.

Indiana State Board of Animal Health

BOAH’s mission is to prevent and suppress contagious and infectious diseases among the livestock. Creating a healthy, disease-free environment for Indiana’s 31 million animals is no small feat. BOAH’s team of veterinarians and animal health inspectors travel to all corners of the state to investigate possible outbreaks of disease and advise animal owners about disease prevention.

Purdue University Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory

Indiana’s Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, a vital veterinary diagnostic testing to Indiana and the rest of the United States.

United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)

USDA provides leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, rural development, nutrition, and related issues based on public policy, the best available science, and effective management.

The USDA’s vision to provide economic opportunity through innovation, helping rural America to thrive; to promote agriculture production that better nourishes Americans while also helping feed others throughout the world; and to preserve our Nation’s natural resources through conservation, restored forests, improved watersheds, and healthy private working lands.

U.S. Poultry & Egg Association

The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is the world’s largest and most active poultry organization. We represent the entire industry as an “All Feather” association. Membership includes producers and processors of broilers, turkeys, ducks, eggs, and breeding stock, as well as allied companies. Formed in 1947, the association has affiliations in 27 states and member companies worldwide.
